The starting point of every design relies on the client’s needs. For us, it isn’t just about high-end furniture and exquisite fabrics — it’s about creating a sense of belonging and visual harmony. We imagine a place where they can relax, spend time with their family and enjoy life.
With the family exhausted from building their new home, our job was to create a fully furnished interior. Our goal was to enhance the choices already made at the design and build stage while catering for the growing family’s individual needs.
Working with existing fixtures, fittings and colour choices we proposed a selection of furniture and soft furnishings keeping it local to Scotland from furniture manufacturers in Edinburgh to bespoke carpentry from Glasgow enabling us to supply and install within the timescale, despite the ongoing Pandemic.
We really enjoyed working with the family and overseeing them all settle into their stunning new coastal home.
Jo is very easy to talk to, listens to your needs/likes/ideas and then adds her own thoughts.
Jo came to visit to see the pieces we wanted to keep and then to see the new house, not at the finished stage. We arranged a trip to Edinburgh to two furniture showrooms with whom Jo has an excellent rapport and a history of good customer service.
At the visits suitable pieces were carefully chosen, with care and attention to sizing and material choices. Before the order was placed, Jo returned to make final measurements to ensure the furniture would fit. Detailed plans were sent, along with ideas and colour swatches for carpets, curtains, and cushions. Jo co-ordinated the fulfilment, arrival, unpacking, building, and placement of the furniture.
We had an incredibly smooth move into our new house with all furniture fitting and colours coordinating perfectly.
Jo is extremely well organised, easy to talk to and does an excellent job. She made the whole process a pleasurable experience despite the pandemic. I would thoroughly recommend her services.
